We do a lot of things – from rehab, including post surgery and pre surgery therapy (to shorten recovery time after) to the wellness/sport conditioning/ personal training.
Some conditions can not be treated with therapy and requires surgeries, but EVERY ONE, including athletes, can benefit from occasional or ongoing physical tune-up.
Rehabilitation
Planning to Have Surgery? Rehab is much more successful and easier going when the patient learns and practices all exercises and activities prior to surgery. It is widely accepted at this time and it calls PreHab.
Orthopedic, including sports-related injuries can be categorized into two types, acute or chronic. Chronic injuries usually result from overuse and/or repetitive motions. Acute injuries differ from chronic, as these happen suddenly after a traumatic event, like falling or crashing into another player during sports. Learning how to prevent and treat these injuries can diminish recovery time and keep you active in the sports you love.
Movement disorders are neurological conditions affecting speed, fluency, quality, and ease of movement. the severity of involvement can vary from mild to severe, depending on many factors. An approach to improve movement disorder caused by stroke or CP is Neuro-developmental therapy (NDT) is therapeutic approach to the assessment and management dysfunction in people with neurological impairments. Musculoskeletal pain affects bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, or muscles. Amateur and professional athletes are familiar with the phenomena when the pain resolves from physical activity. The trick is to know which pain will go away by itself and which needs to be treated.
If musculoskeletal pain interferes with your usual activities, speak with a healthcare provider. The right treatment can help relieve the pain.

Think of your core muscles as the sturdy central link in a chain connecting your upper and lower body. Whether you’re batting the baseball, kicking the soccer, or serving in tennis, the necessary motions either originate in your core, or move through it.
No matter where motion starts, it ripples upward and downward to adjoining links of the chain. Properly building up your core cranks up the power. A strong core also enhances balance and stability. Thus, it can help prevent falls and injuries during sports or other activities. In fact, a strong, flexible core underpins almost everything you do.
